At Scorpio we provide a friendly, professional, disco for all ages, tastes and occasions including children’s parties. We know that people have different music tastes, for example some 18th birthday parties have requested that we only play R n B, drum n bass and dubstep, music, whereas another will say they want all dance music or just a good mix.
Weddings are usually a good mix of popular music to suit everyone, but again sometimes clients are more specific and send advance play lists. One year we did a German wedding, with mostly German songs, it took a lot of preparation but we all had a great night.
Since the program 'Strictly Come Dancing' started a few years ago, Ballroom has become very popular. So what ever taste in music anyone has, we work around their needs, taking requests at the event and in advance if required.
Children’s parties are usually for 2 hours during the afternoon or early evening. We provide the sweets and most of the prizes, play games, have a dancing competition, and do party dances with the children.
For an evening function, we require a £30.00 deposit, we will then send the client written confirmation and ask that the balance be paid at the function. Access to a venue is required 1 hour before the start time of the disco, so that we can carry in and set up the equipment. It takes 40 minutes to take down and pack away at the the end of the night.
We do not require a deposit for a 2 hour children's party or at a school, payment on the day is fine with us. Access is needed 30 minutes before the start time of the party, as it does not take too long to carry in and set up the smaller show. it also takes 30 minutes to take down
and pack away.
Please note: Special offer for 2012, we are keeping children’s 2 hour parties at the same price for the 3rd year running of £80.00

- Adult eveining parties between £180. and £200. depending on start and finishing times.
- Children's birthday party 2 hours £80.00, (including sweets and some prizes).
- Primary school discos 2 hours £80.00, (3 hours £90, until 9pm).
